Strengthening Families. Transforming Communities. At Peace for Women – West Nile, we believe that when women are economically empowered, families become stronger, communities become more resilient, and local economies flourish. Economic independence gives women the confidence, resources, and opportunities to make informed decisions, provide for their families, and actively contribute to sustainable community development. Our Women's Economic Empowerment Programme is designed to equip women and girls with practical skills, financial knowledge, business support, and access to opportunities that enable them to build sustainable livelihoods and achieve long-term financial independence. Through training, mentorship, savings initiatives, entrepreneurship development, and market linkages, we are helping women transform their talents into thriving businesses and brighter futures. Why Women's Economic Empowerment Matters Across many communities, women continue to face barriers such as limited access to education, financial services, productive resources, employment opportunities, and markets. These challenges often restrict their ability to generate sustainable incomes and improve their quality of life.
