Our Strategic Goals

Driving Sustainable Change Through Empowerment and Peace

At Peace for Women – West Nile (PFW-WN), our strategic goals provide a clear roadmap for creating lasting impact in the communities we serve. They reflect our commitment to empowering women, girls, and young people while promoting peace, equality, resilience, and sustainable development across the West Nile region.

Our work is guided by a people-centered and community-driven approach that addresses the root causes of poverty, inequality, gender-based violence, conflict, and social exclusion. Through integrated programmes and strong partnerships, we strive to build resilient communities where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Our Strategic Goal

Our overarching strategic goal is:

To strengthen the resilience, wellbeing, leadership, and economic independence of women, girls, and youth through integrated programmes that promote gender equality, peaceful coexistence, climate resilience, and sustainable development.

This goal serves as the foundation for all our interventions and guides how we design, implement, monitor, and evaluate our programmes. By addressing interconnected social, economic, and environmental challenges, we aim to create long-term, transformative change that benefits individuals, families, and communities.

Our Strategic Priorities
