Building Stronger Minds, Stronger Communities, and Lasting Peace The Path to Peace Project is a community-based mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) initiative implemented by Peace for Women – West Nile to strengthen resilience, promote healing, and foster peaceful coexistence among refugee and host communities in Arua City, Uganda. The project recognizes that communities affected by displacement, conflict, and social challenges require more than basic services—they need safe spaces where individuals can heal, rebuild trust, and develop the confidence to shape a peaceful future. Through inclusive community engagement, psychosocial support, and capacity strengthening, the project empowers women, girls, youth, and community leaders to become agents of positive change. Our Vision To create resilient, peaceful, and mentally healthy communities where every individual has the opportunity to heal, thrive, and contribute to lasting peace.
